Are you tired of trading your time for money? 

My name is Eric and a few years ago I grew weary of the rat race . . . you know what I'm talking about: the rat race where every day you get up at the crack of dawn, throw down some coffee, maybe fill up the "go-cup", fire up the mule team and fall into the rut that takes you to your J-O-B!

Then you punch the time clock and shuffle papers (if you're lucky) or shovel something or build something, for eight hours or so, and maybe you get a coffee break and lunch hour (which is really only a half hour) and at the end of the day you fire up the mule team and fall into the rut again but this time in the other direction!

When you get home, you greet the missus with a kiss, toss the rug rats around the play room for a bit, eat dinner, read the kids a story before bed and then turn-in yourself.  Next morning when the electronic rooster crows, you do it all over again!

And every two weeks they hand you a check made out for whatever "they" think you are worth (with half of it "stolen" by the government in the name of paying your fair share) and you take the rest to your mortgage company, your utility company, your auto loan broker, and the grocery store for milk and bread (and I don't mean money)! With any luck at all, you'll manage to stay Just-Over-Broke!

Are you ready for a real  change?  

Not the kind that politicians promise but cannot deliver, but real change that can have a positive influence on your life and the lives of those you care about.

But first, you've got to decide what kind of change you're looking for: one that doesn't knock you out of your "comfort zone" and doesn't cost a lot of money (because we both know that there is barely enough of that to go around).

Choose your niche!

It's got to be something you're comfortable with, something that you already know about or at least that you can learn without spending a lot of time and money for a new education, something that has value that you can transfer to others (yes that's right, I mean your customers) and hopefully it's a cutting-edge niche that has a lot of potential for growth.  It should have products that are consumable (as in used-up, let's go get some more) and economically priced (doesn't cost "an-arm-and-a-leg").

Your niche should tap into an existing, expandable market place.  My recommendation is that you leverage two of the biggest  trends of this decade: home-page-based business model and the health-&-wellness industry.  This combination is like a stick of dynamite with the fuse already lit - and the residual explosion will no doubt extend well into the next decade and beyond!

Now, this is just one example, but watch this next video and then you decide.

As I said before, this is just one niche, and I happen to think it's a particularly good one, but health and wellness may not be your thing.  So if it's not, well, what is your thing? Consumables include many things including cosmetics, skin-care products, apparel, jewelry, toys and games, sporting equipment, cell phones, iPods, electronics, computers, home and garden?  There are almost countless examples that I could cite, but one question remains:  

Do you have a Plan B?

This is an important question and not to be taken lightly.  And even more importantly, will the niche you've chosen fit into some kind of organized, profitable marketing plan?  After all is said and done, if it's not profitable, why would you bother?  You might as well be carrying buckets!

And what about your retirement?  You can't keep hauling buckets forever, can you?

It really is up to you!

Do Something!

What's your Plan B?  Do you have one?  Is it working for you?

The best way to beat the rat race is to start your own business, with a proven business plan, one that allows you to work from your own home and chose your own hours.  You should look for something that is internet-based, because that is the marketplace of the future, or at least have a strong internet presence.  It should be consumer-oriented with a product line that people keep coming back for, so you don't have to keep re-selling them or find new clients. Your business should have a relatively low start-up cost with a rock-solid 100% money-back guarantee.

It's never too late to get started.  There are still significant tax advantages to working at home and that gives you the ability to keep more of what you earned.  Being internet-based allows you to work-at-home (or wherever you may be right now) giving you the flexibility to spend more quality time doing the things that you enjoy doing, whether that's more time with the kids or more time for your golf game or sailing or whatever!

So, what are you waiting for?
